Definition:  The ratio of the quantity (SEP:quantity) of iron (CHEBI:iron atom) in the root (PO:root) to the corresponding root mass (PATO:mass) assessed after drying

Comment:  The quantity of iron can be expressed either as a mass (with mass unit, e.g. gram) or as an amount (with amount unit, e.g. mol). The term concentration is polysemic and we suggest to not use it in this context. When known, the component of the root on which the measurements have been taken should be specified: coarse root, fine root.
